Creating this website was very meaningful to me. Through this creation, I was able to gain insight into the works of Henry James. I was unaware of the many publications he had. I was amazed to realize all of the works he had published and the success of a few great publications.I was very amazed to review the privileges he had as a child as he was able to study in a variety of cultures. I believe this overall enhanced the quality of his education. I have come to admire James for his expressiveness and the message behind his publications. I recently only discovered Henry James as we read Daisy Miller in English Literature. My first time reading the text, I was not that intrigued and I was just glad that I was done reading it. However, after receiving the lecture regarding the text, I began to understand the deeper meaning behind the story. This increased my appreciation for James. By evaluating the text deeper, I truly began to understand the superficial meaning behind the story. James is an outstanding writer who used his writing abilities to tell meaningful stories. He uses the characterization and names of his characters to provide meaning deeper than just the story line. I have come to gain great appreciation for James and his contribution to American Literature. James will always be someone in which I admire due to his lasting impact and influence on American Literature. James work shows great success due to the interactions he made. His impact continues to show today. James was a very inspirational writer during his time period and I believe he continues to show this, as people continue to read his short stories and novels. Although his publications may seem outdated, they are still recognized in our society today. The publication of this website was very eye opening for me. It is an honor to learn so much about a man who was so influential on American Literature. I believe I overall have gained appreciation for Henry James. He was a man who not only impacted those around him but those for years to come. His legacy will live on and he will continue to have a lasting impact on anyone who chooses to read his work.
