Hello! My name is Grace Morgan. I am currently a senior at Anson High School pursuing a degree in the arts from South Piedmont Community College. My current hobbies include varsity volleyball, varsity softball, and participating in community service. Community service is something that I value as i hope to set an example for those around me to get involved. As Gandhi once said, "Be the change you want to see in the world." This is a quote that I like to live by and hold myself accountable to. I strive everyday to be a better version of myself and to be that change. Following high school, I hope to attend UNC Chapel Hill with a major in pre-med. After receiving my undergraduate degree, I plan to attend medical school and later become a physician. In order to ensure the medical field was an appropriate future occupation for me, I completed an internship at the local hospital. Through this internship, I spent 135 hours gaining insight to the medical field. I was able to explore the many occupations available within the medical field and make a decision regarding my future occupation. Following medical school, I hope to open my own practice. In a spirit of helping others, I have tried to be a leader at SPCC. Throughout my work, I can see where I have challenged others as well as myself to step out and take chances.
